hi sharon...thanks for the reply. george and lula lived around rogers and campton all their lives but not together!
he lived with another woman. i think, but i'm not sure but she might have had a child by him many years earlier. his name was jackson. he moved to indiana. lula and george also had a son named jack. jack was older. jackson was born around 1905-1906, he was the same age as my grandmother, nannie ethel brewer. she was george and lula's daughter. she married robert spencer. my mother was lucille spencer. when mom was in her thirties she found out that robert was not her father. her real father is oakley moreland brewer, son of henry clay brewer. oakley met with my mother and confirmed this. my grandmother and oakley are not supposed to be related but i think they were. gr-grandma lula mae and a couple of her sons are buried at tar ridge cemetery along with oakley, his wife, clay and his wife and many more. so are the kings. clay's mother was caroline king. george is buried in campton but his grave marker has nothing on it!
my aunt edna showed me where it was.
i'll keep looking....if i find anything, i will let you know
thanks
vicki
