WAS BURRELL BREWER (b 1730) IN REV. WAR?
Burrell Brewer must have 10,000 g-g-g-g-grandchildred...give or take.I'm one of them. I have something that reads: "Burrell Brewer was given a Major's grant of land, as were some of his relatives and inlaws. From County Histories, more than several would qualify for Patriotic Service in the Revolution. 640 for each. Lt. William Brewer received 250 acres". (Lt. William was Burrell's son.)It sounds obvious that Burrell WAS in the Rev. War and was a major.......or does it? I haven't read anything about this until now...Ofcourse there's a LOT I haven't read! (What is 'County Histories', anyway?)
He is not listed with the DAR...but that doesn't mean he wasn't in the war...only that noone has applied under his name.
If anyone has any information about Burrell being in the Rev. War, please be in touch...if not today, then tomorrow or 3 months from now. Whatever. These are not the best of times and we all have a lot on our minds. God bless our Brewer Family and God Bless America. sk
