Forgot to add Theobald's father's name for your records, Johann Adam Brua b. 15 June 1679 (Alsace Lorraine, France), d 18 December 1757. It appears that Gustavus or his children changed the spelling of the last name from Brua to Brewer. I plan on checking the cementary in Clear Spring, Md at St Pual's Church on Saturday. From what I have found Gustavus and many of the Brewer's including my ggrandparents (Buried in the 1940's) have been buried there since migrating from Philly and Lancaster areas in the 1700's. Would like to hear more about your line from Daniel. Have more info that I will share as soon as I finish updating my computer files.
