Although this is NOT my family, I diddo a bit of research on your behalf.Your Willis H Brewer was born 20 February 1790 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., GA the son of William Brewer Sr and Elizabeth Holman.William and Elizabeth were married about 1767 in SC....they had, in addition to Willis:
Burrell, born about 1768 in SC
Thomas, born about 1770 in SC
Sarah, born about 1772 in SC
Mathew H., born about 1774 in SC
William H, born 21 February 1785 in GA
Elizabeth, born about 1786 in GA
Sarah Ann, born 5 July 1792 in Oglethorpe, GA
William Brewer was born between 1741/1745 in Brunswick, VA the son of Nicholas Brewer and Sarah...last name unknown. This couple were married about 1740 in Brunswick, VA
Your Willis H was Willis Hamlin Brewer, who married Mary Spence Walpole on 8 November 1819 in Madison, AL...she was born 16 September 1802 in Edgefield, SC the daughter of Richard Walpole and Agnes Freeman.
As far as I could determine, they had only one child:
Edward Hamlin Brewer, born 30 December 1820 in Charlotte, Mecklenberg Co.,NC...at least he was the only one I could find.
Said Edward Hamlin Brewer married Rosamond Elizabeth McKinney on 12 March 1846 in Monroe, MS.I found only three children of this couple:
John Willis, born 29 January 1847 in Calhoun, MS
William Martin, born 13 June 1848 in Calhoun
Edward George, born 30 May 1855 in Calhoun.
The similarity in Edward George and your George Edward struck me...but I could dig up nothing further.I do hope this has been helpful to you.
