Burris was the father of James Brewer Sr. James Sr. married Elizabeth Whidden. They had 13 children..James Jr.,Burris and Joseph were 3 of the boys. Joseph married Julia Hollingsworth and they were the parents of my grandmother..Susie Brewer McLaughlin. The fact that Burris was the father of James is family knowledge. However, there are two other sources for that information.
Do you live in Florida?? I can e-mail you more information if you want. I want to get the Brewers listed as official Florida Pioneers, but everything has to be documented. I'm having a problem with getting the documents.
