I understand your frustration. There were two James BREWERs in the area of Brunswick Co., VA. I worked this our when I became a member of the Society of Col. Wars. I have the marriage record of Lewis Brewer, Sr. Naming a son with the middle name Wiggins is surely a hint about the mother's name. I worked that angle a long time. Lewis stated in the 1850 census that he was b. in NC. That was a killer until I worked with Broyhill on that.
