I am the great grand daughter of Morgan Brewer

He is buried with his 3rd wife in the
Brewer Cemetary on the hill across the highway from Brewer's Chapel church in the 7th district of hancock county. Some of his
children and grandchildren are buried there
also. He had 17 children. He did lots of
things for a living--some of them were
logging and he operated a store for many

Morgan Brewer b 8-20-1870 d 8-28-1950

I believe Sara Geneva Brewer who married
ML Carr is also buried in that cemetary.
The 1994 Hancock County History Book
Sara Geneva Brewer
b 7-31-1833 d 2-22-1937
but when I visited the cemetary and
copied down dates, I listed her
birth date as 7-31-1883 which makes
mores sense.
ML Carr
b 12-13-1869 d 8-14-1943
his dates match what I copied from
the tombstone.

Molly I believe married JN Stanifer and
according to the 1994 Book they are
buried in the Stubblefield Stanifer
cemetary in the 7th district of
Hancock County
(I don't know where that cemetary is)
Their Dates are listed as
Molly Brewer Stanifer
b=1-8-1873 d 1-27-1942
JN Stanifer
b-4-19-1871 d 8-2-1935

Also it might be of interest to you to
know that the parents of Morgan, Mollie and
Sara Geneva Brewer are buried in the
Brewer Cemetary

They are
James Ambrose Brewer b 8-15-1842 d 3-23-1926
(he was a civil war veteran who lost an
arm in the war)
and Sara C Brewer
b 6-15-1843 d 8-8-1896
(somewhere I heard she was a Ramsey)

Morgan also had a brother named
William Richard
b 7-8-1875 d 7-2-1953
married Bower Robinette Brewer
b 1-27-1879 d 8-15-1963
they are also buried in the Brewer
Cemetary, along with some of their
children and families
His last surviving child just passed
away last year.

This is too many generations back for me
to be an authority but I did some research
a few years ago and I am glad because
some of the people I talked with
have now passed away.

Other than the Ambrose Brewer-Morgan Brewer
Line which I am personally familiar with I am sending you information from
the 1994 History Book and from Cemetary

I got my copy of the 1994 History Book
by calling Hancock County Courthouse
and speaking to Scott Collins

I believe they are now in the process
of publishing another book

Good Luck!
