Searching for Samuel Brewer b. ca mid- 1700's in Lancaster County PA later came to Fayette County, PA to help quell the "Whiskey Rebellion" (1790's?) stayed on to become a teamster on the National Road (Rt. 40) setted as a farmer in Perry Township, Fayette Co. PA
Married Nancy Murphy and had at least one child: Sarah Brewer b. 1818 in PA d. 1903
Sarah married local farmer Robert Lynch Jr. (b 7 - 29 - 1813 d. 12 - 28 - 1884)
had the following children:
Nancy Jane
Mersilia A.(Marcella, Mercilla, etc..1837-81)
Howard (1848 -1931)
Josiah B.
Clariss (1855-1899)
