Olene, I have an Asa Brewer in my Brewer family tree, but the name Leah Brickey doesn't sound familiar, I'll have to check my notes, but I think (if I am correct) that my Asa Brewer's wife was a Yelvington (I don't know her first name). Their surname Brewer was likely originally spelled Brouwer, as they originated in the Netherlands (Holland) and or in Dutch speaking region of Belgium. The descendants of Asa Brewer (my mother's family), settled in Smith County/Simpson County, Mississippi area .I will get back with you if I find any thing about a Leah Brickey.-Thanks, Jeff
