I must be living in this forum today. I pulled out a Brewer file stuck way in the back <grin> and found:

This is like a testimonial to David Brewer "David Brwer, a typical pioneer of northeastern Nebraska..but who know lives in a native of MA, where his birth occured may 29, 1838: ...and is a son of Jonas and Eunice (Smith) Brewer, ...where their grandfathers, Oliver Smith and Jonas Brewer Sr. In 1843 our subject...left MA and came to DuPage...Mr. Brewer was united in the year 1862 to Miss Evoline Gillett and seven children blessed this union, whose names are as follows: Jonas, Joseph, James, Arthur, Clara, Elson and Dick who died in infancy. Mr. Brewer moved to Iowa, remaining there 4 years. They then came to Madison County, NE in 1870....In 1890 Mr. Brewer was again united in marriage, the bride being Mrs. J. McGann and Mr. and Mrs. Brewer have had three children, with the names a follows: Gertrude, Grace, deceased in infancy: and David also died when a baby.

I love typing. Chris
