Does anyone know anything about John Alsop Brewer who married Elizabeth Irene Pike in Alabama. John Alsop Brewer was born April 1887 in Moulton, Alabama. Elizabeth Irene Pike was born about 1886 in Tennessee. His parents were John Henry Brewer and Sarah Frances McLemore Brewer. Her parents were Bill Pike and Eliza Sutton Pike. They (Elizabeth and John A.) had four children, one of which is supposed to be my grandmother, Mattie Lee Brewer, born in Moulton, Alabama, on June 2, 1911. Her siblings that I know of were Virginia "Virgie" Lucille Brewer, Price Alsop Brewer, and Anna May Brewer. Mattie Lee Brewer married Ernest Daniel Hallmark and they moved to Battle Creek, Michigan in the summer of 1937. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
