I happened across your material on the Brewer website today. As you may have noted in my earlier query, I descend from Elaney (Laney, Eleanor) Brewer, who married Michael Hawkins (ca. 1750-1845), a Loyalist of New Jersey, who came to New Brunswick in the Spring Fleet of 1783 and settled in St. Mary's (now Keswick), York County, New Brunswick. According to the few records on her, she was born about 1767 in New York. Have no doubt she connects with your family but have not been able to find the proof yet. I have been working on and am finalizing a 550+ page book on their descendants . . .would be most excited about finding Laney's parentage as well. I also have a very thick file of Brouer-Brewer materials!!! ALAN
