I don't know if this is a connection of your's, but I have a cemetery listing for Long Co., GA (south-eastern side) which was once Liberty Co; These particular BREWER stones are in the BAGGS Cemetery, which is a *free* city cemetery near the town of Ludowici. The name AUSTIN caught my eye, as there is also one AUSTIN buried in what was part of Long Co. (now Tattnall Co.)
AUSTIN, Madola E. DELK
b. 10/15/1871 d. 12/24/1921
dau of A.J. DELK and Elizabeth Amanda CHAPMAN, mar. 8/23/1888 to John F. AUSTIN.
She is buried at Jones Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Jones Creek Church was organized in 1810 by members of Beards Creek Baptist Church, which is in present Tattnall Co. This cemetery contains a little over 400 marked gravs, but a local resident estimates there are at least 1200 graves there. It is said it is not unusual that when a new grave is dug to find remains of an unmarked one. This cemetery is about 8 miles north-west of Ludowici in Hwy. U.S. 301. It could be that more AUSTIN graves are there, but unmarked.
There are quite a few listed.
