George Washington Cox and Martha Brewer are both listed in Stafford Township, Greene Co., Indiana census for 1850. I believe that his parents were Absolem and Phebe Cox and that her mother's first name was Milivia. George W. and Martha were married in Greene Co., IN in 1855. They had at least three children: Israel Marion, John Manford, and George Tillman(?). George Washington and Martha Brewer Cox are buried in Kensie Cemetery, which is near Harviell, Missouri. I am a descendant of John Manford. I may have other information that is of interest to you if you would like to contact me.
