Well I wish I could help you on Elijah and Mary but I am stuck there! I found Elijah and Mary on an 1850 Rhea county census Elijah 56 b NC (Farmer) Mary 58 b NC also listed a Webby A. 23 This would mean Elijah was born in 1794 rather than 1792 which I had down. It would mean Mary was born in 1792.
Also from Rhea county Tn. Marriages,
Lewis Brewer married a Elizabeth Danby November 12, 1845: Jesse Thompson JP, Joseph Windfield BM Ar

I think Lewis is a son of Elijah. My line comes from as follows:

1.)Elijah Brewer b 1794 NC
2.) Zebedee Brewer b 1810 NC
3.) Josiah Brewer b January 12, 1846 Rhea county Tn.
4.) Lewis Jackson Brewer b December 12, 1879 Freemont co., Colorado
5.) Herbert Wiley Brewer b 2-23-1916 Van Buren, Ar.
6.) Herbert David Brewer b 12-12-1940 Seminole, Oklahoma

So that is what I have now, I am hoping I can get past my "Road Block" Was your Lewis a son of Elijah?
