Looking for info on the following Brewer line. I am especially interested in info about Wm. Brewer, who were his parents were, how did he get to NC/GA.

William Brewer - from the 1850 census of Oconee Co., GA, 72 years of age, believed to be the father of William P. Brewer listed below. Notation that Wm. Brewer was from NC. Lived in/around Whitehall, GA in Oconee/Clarke Co. GA

William P. Brewer - 1860 census of Oconee Co., GA,b.1815, spouse Sarah b.1820.
Children of Wm. P. Brewer:
Wm. Thomas Brewer b.1835
Burrell F. Brewer b. 1838
James H. Brewer b.1840
Benjamin P Brewer b.1844
Charles Darty Brewer b.1846

The Roster of Confederate Soldiers of GA lists 4 of the above serving in the Army of Northern Va.:

Burrell F. Brewer-GA 8th Inf. Co. K, sent home on sick furlough 10/31/1864.

James H. Brewer-GA 8th Inf. Co. K, died at Yorktown, VA 12/13/1861.

Benjamin P. Brewer-GA 5th Inf. Co. D, disability discharge 7/26/1862.

Charles D. Brewer-GA 8th Inf. Co. K, wounded at Cold Harbor, VA 6/1/1864, no record after 10/31/1864.

Charles D. Brewer is my gggrandfather. Married Emiline Ivy/Ivie (from AL) 12/26/1867, died 05/25/1932. buried at Pleasant Grove Baptist Ch., Madison Co., GA.
