HENRY BREWER, WAYNE COUNTY, TN

I have browsed this entire forum and can't find any reference to my gr gr gr grandfather's line.

Here's what I have: Henry BREWER b. abt 1825 in TN, m. Susan HAYS (b. 1830 TN). This is off the 1860 Wayne County census. Next door to Henry in 1860 was Hiram BREWER b. 1829, TN. (perhaps a brother?) I also have reference to another: Richard BREWER, who was the executor for the estate of Nathaniel MARTIN (another of my ancestors).

Henry's mother-in-law was listed as Caroline.

Henry & Susan had these children that I know about: 1. Hetta Jane BREWER b. 1850, TN, d. 15 Jul 1873, TN. (Hetta or Hettie married William Anuel MARTIN on 16 Jun 1868 in Wayne County, TN. Their children: i. William Henry MARTIN b. 27 Aug 1869 in Wayne County, d. 17 Feb 1967 in Ft. Gibson, Muskogee County, OK; ii. Martha M. MARTIN b. 13 Feb 1872 in Wayne County, d. 17 Sep 1873 in Wayne County.

2. Nellie Caroline BREWER b. abt 1852 in TN, m. a SCOTT. Nellie had the following children: Joe, Homer, Sam, Letha, Jack, and Pocahontas SCOTT.

3. William T. BREWER b. abt 1857 in TN. I don't know who he married, his children were: Leonard, Charlie, Bob, Ethel, and Thelma BREWER.

When Hetta died, W.A. was left with raising 2 young children, one still a baby. The baby died just 2 months after her mother.

If anyone can help me - I'd sure appreciate it. I have seen so many Brewers on this forum from Wayne County - they just have to be related!

I don't always get time to surf but I check my email everyday. whoopee@atoka.net
