Re: BREWER'S IN ARKANSAS

In Reply to: BREWER'S IN ARKANSAS by GERALD BREWER of 8988

My GGG Grandmother, Hester (Hetty) Brewer married Edmund Ferguson in Washington Co, AR on 7 Mar 1847. I am descended from their daughter Rachel. A lot of clues make me suspect that C(S)ivilian and Mary Brewer could be Hester's parents. Including: Ages would be correct, Hester was born in OH - Sivilan was born in OH (1850 census)and children Lucinda and Murphy born OH, Edmund and Rachel named their first daughter Mary. My father's name was Sylvan (we knew he was named after an ancestor, but who?), plus all the Hanna, Ferguson, Brewer connections in Washington Co, AR. 1850 census transcription indicates that David, Ann, and Milton Brewer were born in Iowa. Would love to exchange information and work with you on finding these Brewers.
Thanks,
Linda
