The following is from the Summer 1999 issue of the "Brewer Researcher". It is a tale by Laudis H. Brewer about his family.

"Solomon, Wiley, George, and Henry Brewer were brothers and early settlers of Wayne Co., Tn. Solomon's daughter, Margaret, married a Jonas Brewer, had ten children before the Civil War, and moved to Ar. Children were: Sarah, J., Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Aaron V.B., Ambros, James M., Margaret, Joseph, Nancy C. and Solomon. They moved to a place called Roasting Ear Creek." This is in Stone Co., AR near Fifty-Six, AR. which is near Blanchard's Springs. Ambros,(b. Sept. 1844) son of Jonas and Margaret, married Nellie Jane Hood. Both are buried at Ward Cemetery in Stone Co, AR. Their Daughter, Melvina Jane Brewer, 1875-1941, was my great grandmother. Any information on this family will be appreciated.
