Braxton Brewer is my gggrandfather. He died between 1900-1910--listed on the 1900 census in the household of his daughter Phoebe and son-in-law George W. Carter. As I recall they were on the Claiborne Co., TN census. The son-in-law, George is descended from Capt. Thomas Carter of Lancaster Co., VA.

I have been trying to locate documentation (wills, deeds, etc.) that proves Braxton is Joab's son. Have you found anything? Thank you.
