I have recently acquired a lot of information about the family of Jeremiah BREWER (born abt 1750, VT) and Margaret Hegger (first wife) Hannah Thomas (second wife). These marriages resulted in 12 children: Abraham, William, Polly, Peter, Jacob, Sarah, Nicholas, Hannah, Martha, John, Jeremiah, Serring.

I am connected to Peter* (1779-1844) who married Hannah Sanborne* (1779-1852) and had seven children: Gardner G., Peter Earl, Samantha*, Schuyler, Martha, Rozilla*, Renselaer.

*are family members who are buried in the Brewer Cemetery on Fortin Farm near Highgate Center, VT. Others buried there are: Alphonso Brewer, George Brewer, Stephen Brewer, James Johnson, Ama Johnson.

I am connected to Gardner G. BREWER (born 1808) and married Charlotte BARR (born 1809) and they had eight children: Mary, Conrad, Hannah, Peter E., Allen, Albert, Charlotte, Ida.

The genealogists I got this information from are Donald Herbert Brewer (great great grandfather is Peter E. Brewer), Ann Brewer Innis (father Donald Brewer), Wayne Braithwaite and Delane Brewer Braithwaite (great great great grandfather is Gardner Brewer).

As of December 1993, Donald Brewer was located in San Diego, CA. Wayne and Delane Braithwaite live in Richland Center, WI.

Donald Brewer and a few other people visited the Brewer Cemetery in 1983 and took pictures of the headstones they could locate (those are the asterisked ones above). My family and I visited this cemetery two weeks ago and the only headstone we could locate was Samantha's. The cemetery is in very bad shape and almost to the point of being indistinguishable. It made me very sad.

I would be happy to share information with any Vermont connected BREWERS and receive any information you might have relating to the descendants of Jeremiah BREWER and also his ancestors.

Thanks and I look forward to connecting with you.
