Are you familiar with Greene's "History of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport, ME"?
My Grandmother Maxine V. Brewer, great grandfather George Byron Brewer, great great grandfather father George Brewer, ggg grandfather Samuel Brewer Jr. (brother to your Ferdinand?), gggg grandparents Samuel Brewer and Abigail Bennett Brewer. I guess we must be related! There is a Bennett and a Brewer section in Greene's book. If you are not familiar with it, I will gladly send you copies of the Bennett/Brewer sections.
