There might be a connection. This is what I have so far, gathered from the 1850 Wyandot Census and the book "History of Wyandot County, Ohio" Daniel Brewer born 1771 New York, possible father of Jacob A. Brewer died 1835 Ohio. This Jacob A. (there's 3 of them) married Hannah Stall. Their children: Jacob A., Ann, Catharine -m- David Hall, Cornelius, Peter, William, Hester J., Eliza, Lucinda, Mary C.. Jacob A. born 21 January 1814 New York, married 05 April 1837 Crawford County, Ohio to Susan Eyman. Their children: John, Hannah -m- John Racy, Cornelius -m- Edith Nutter 08 April 1869, Oscar, Mary J. -m- William Lumberson, James, W.H. and Jacob A.. There's a James Brewer born 1808 New York and a Parrish C. Brewer born 1813 New York who I think are brothers to the second Jacob A. because of the birth dates. My ancestor is a Sarah Brewer born 1825 New York -m- David Williams born Pennsylvania. On the 1850 Census, Daniel Brewer is listed with Sarah and David but because of the ages, I think Daniel Brewer is Sarah's grandfather. I don't know who her parents are. Does this help you?
