I am wondering if my Henry Brewer may be yours. My Henry was born in Lee Co. Va. c1846-8, the son of David W. Brewer and wife Olive ? . Olive was born in Tn. and was half Cherokee. My Henry is believed to have married Amanda Beaver. Henry's siblings were Christopher, Sarah A., Evan(my great grandfather), Martha, James and W.B.. David and Olive moved from Lee Co.Va. with family sometime after 1840 census because they are in Barry Co. on the 1850 census. I know Evan, James and Martha stayed in Barry Co. the rest of their lives and believe Sarah and Henry married there but I don't know how much longer they lived there as I haven't really had time to follow their path. Son Christopher never arrived in Mo. with the family and I don't know if he had died or if he was just old enough to go his own way. I also don't know what happened to W.B.. All of mine lived in Sugar Creek Twp. Where was your Henry in Barry Co.? If you think this could be your Henry I have more information on the family and descendants.
