My Brevard has a Thomas Brevard born 1726, died abt 1789, married 1761 in Cecil Co. MD. to Hannah Creiger, Born abt 1730. Do you think this could be your Brevards? Capt. Thomas was part owner of 2 plantations in Cecil Co., previously owned by members of the McKnitt family.Capt. Thomas, a Rev. War officer was dead by 1790,since Hannah was listed alone in the 1790 census of Cecil Co. MD. They had a daughter, unknown name,married ? Mitchell. Daugh born 1762 This Thomas Brevard was a son of John/Jean and wife McKnitt. This info is in the Brevard book and was given by MarianneH. McNair of Florida.
