Hi Peter,
I worked for about 20 minutes on May 1 but must have gummed it up since my message did not appear to be sent to you. Here we go again with some of my specific questions. My grandfather Thomas was a farmer and I presume his family were farmers as well. Do you have any information about what their lives were like in Ireland?
Have you found any good internet sites re births and deaths in Ireland? I know a lot of records were lost when the central building where they were stored burned in 1922.
In my first message to you I referred to Elizabeth and Thomas`s youngest brother as John but see now he was James and I have the name of his wife.
Do you know whether their brother George or possibly James came to Canada or the U.S.A.?
On the family tree given to me by a relative there was an unnamed brother of Elizabeth and Thomas born in 1800. Do you know whether this is right? If it is I found some interesting info about a descendent of his which I can share with you.
Have you ever come across Margaret Brett born April 5,1831?
She was my maternal great-grandmother on my Dad`s side of the family.
I certainly hope you receive this.
Brenda
