I wrote a book about the genealogy of Breton family. I am living in Quebec and Jean Hélie (Élie) is my ancestor. His father was Jean Helie married with Jeanne Meusnier. He came from Meniac (Meniarq or Meneac) near Merdrignace and Broceliande forest. Befoere he came in Nouvelle-France, he was married with Jacquette Chorret born in 1637. She died in 1661 leaving to him a girl named Marie-Charlotte Elie (1641-1734). After the death of his wife he came in Nouvelle-France with his daugther in 1665/66. In the new world, he got married with Jeanne Labbé daugther of Charles Labbé and Marguerite-Marie François respectively fron St-Leu and St-Gilles in the Parish area...

I don't know any web site about this ancestor. I found many information on that guy, in court documents and notary document.
