As I mentioned on a 6/15 99 listing on this page there were Tipperary Brereton/Breartons in the Castleton,Fair Haven,Poultney area of Vermont from the mid 19th century . They were part of a large group of Tipperary immigrants in this area. I have been told that the name evolved to Brayton in this part of Vermont. Regards,Peter Patten(no relation) Fair Haven,Vermont
