I have worked at it from the other direction. My great grandmother was Annie Amelia Brereton Tate. Her father - the Rev. Henry Brereton died in Hillingdon, uxbridge, England on April 2, 1867 - he was 84 so would have been born in 1783. I haven't been able to go further back than that but would LOVE to. I have come across such siblings to Annie as Susan, Laura, John, there is a Frank and another Henry mentioned in her diaries from 1867-1880. Henry Brereton was made a Deacon of the Church by the Bishop of Brisbane in 1807. My own father was Henry Brereton Tate, born in Victoria BC to Reginald Tate and Marion Burroughs. Reginald was son of Annie Amelia Brereton and Robert Tate.

Hope you are still actively researching Julie!

Debbie Tate Forman
