I have a Douce (Dowce) daughter of Sir John Savage who married my William Egge (Edge) 1470 in the Parish of Horton, STaffordshire. I believe that she would be the daughter of Sir John Savage and Catherine Stanley OR the daughter of Sir John Savage and Elizabeth Brereton. I recently purchased 'The History of Horton Hall in Staffordshire' of which my family was a part of and it also mentions the marriage and the fact that she lived to be, give or take a few years, 90 years of age. I am hoping that someone can connect me up with the proper family. Thank you, Ruth in Oregon
