In July 2002, I visited Astbury in Cheshire and came across Ellen Egerton and William de Brereton's tomb. I have photos if you anyone is interested and a Professor at Cambridge University translated the Latin inscription for me. I've since found a few websites on Ellen and William. One of these websites is:

Also the Professor said ... if you find yourself pursuing the Earls of Huntingdon connection, there's a rather fine portrait in the Hall of Queens' College, Cambridge, bearing the legend "HENRICUS COMES HUNTING.", which we cheerfully rendered "Henry comes hunting" - in fact "HENRICUS COMES HUNTINGDONIS", "Henry, Earl of Huntingdon".
