Looking proof of the maiden names of the two wives of Henry BRERETON, who was born 3 Aug 1685 Wicomico (Somerset) MD, son of William BRERETON and Sarah SMITH. From land records it appears that his first wife was named Patience ___, and the second Margaret DAY(?) whom he married between 1741 and 1744, probably in Sussex County, DE. Henry died a 2 Apr 1755 Sussex. Children: William of age 1755, Henry Jr b c1728, Ann who m(1) William BAGWELL, and (2) Benjamin BURTON, Sarah who married a BROOKSBY, Hannah who married William HAZZARD, and possibly another daughter as Thomas HEMMONS is called "Son-in-law" in the will.
