The Brenton & Harrison Families of Iowa & Kansas

Hello!

I am researching the Brenton & Harrison families of Iowa & Kansas. I am seeking any details regarding William Henry Brenton and his wife- Mrs. Madera "Mary/Dora" Ellen (Harrison) Brenton.

I am the 2nd great-grandnephew of Mrs. Madera Brenton. She was the daughter of Robert Harrison and Mrs. Mary Jane (Davidson) Harrison. Robert Harrison was my 3rd great-grandfather and a Union veteran of Company C, 39th Infantry Regiment, Iowa Volunteers (1862-1865).

Mrs. Madera Brenton was born in Indiana, in 1856. Her brothers and sisters were: Sarah A. Harrison, William R. Harrison, Lucinda Harrison, James Arthur Harrison, Stephen E. Harrison, and Fannie Mae Harrison. Supposedly, from details that I have been given, Mrs. Madera Brenton passed away in Kansas, about 1920.

If anyone has further details, please contact me via email at: Stephen.C.Berrey@cnet.navy.mil or steve_berrey@yahoo.com.

Thank you!
