I have a copy of some notes that were written in the 1920's by an the ancester of Henry Brinton and Matilda Parker. I will copy and past what answers your question and if you would like to see all of it let me know I can e-mail or post it here. The type is how it is written I did not correct any mispellings.

Henry Brenton married Matilda Parker, daughter of George Parker and Susan Reasoner. She was born in 1815 in Indiana and died in 1854. Their Children were Theressa, Clarissa, George, William, Jonathan, Amanda, Mahaley, Susan, Elizabeth and Oliver who died at 9 months. All the others lived to be grown. Henry Brenton had a large farm near Petersburg. He was one of the most up to date farmers in that part of the State. He read all the papers he could get from back east and did a lot experimenting on his own account. He had horses, cows, sheep, hogs, geese, ducks and chickens, He also had fields of wheat and corn and big meadows of timothy and red top oats and clover. He had an apple orchard with fine apples and other fruit trees. He bought the first black cap raspberry and red raspberry from Vinceenes to that part of the country
Susan Reasoner, (my great-grandmother) of Ohio, met young George Parker, of near Thomasville, Georgia, twice by accident at Cincinatti, Ohio, and one by appointment. They were married at the 4th of July celebration at Cincinnatti. He came by boat and said it was around 500 miles. He stayed and they lived near Zanesville, Ohio on the Muskingum River.
