As the rest of you, I am seeking more information on my Brennans.
Family tradition holds that John Brennan was born in Ireland in County Cork. He married Mary Matthews, also born in Ireland. They had at least one child, James Edward Brennan. He was born May 23, 1864 in England. He married Mary Louisa Ivers, also born in England in 1869. They were wed in 1888 at St. Mary's in Providence. I have had no luck in finding out when they arrived, or if James had any siblings. James and Mary had four children: Mary b.1891, Sister Mary Benedicta
Eddie b. 1893 married Gertrude Sanborn in 1914
Catherine b.1895 married William Henry Geoghegan 1921
James Casimir Brennan b. March 4, 1897 married Marguerite Teresa Drury in 1917 in Providence, RI--my grandparents.
