According to the 1860 census, Martin Brennan was born in 1851 in Ireland. But I'm questioning that census because I found some passenger lists for the Brennans and they list the Dennis Brennan family coming over in 1849 (prior to Martin being born). In that family, Martin, Winifred, and William were all born in Ireland and brought here as children.
I'm working backwards with the death certificates......currently waiting for John Francis Brennan's (born 1879, died 1950).
We could have a connection.
