Mt G Grandmother, Alice, was born in 1853 in
BalyDuf, Waterford, the daughter of Michael Pierce Brennan and Bridget(Mahar???), She immigrated to US as a teenager, thru NY, winding up in Fall River Ma and marrying John Galvin, also of Waterford. She came with several sisters who also married and lived in Fall River, Ma. One of her sisters died and she raised one of her children in addition to her own
