Jane Brennan is first found in Seymour, New Haven Co. CT in 1856
when she married Alexander Mercier. They lived in Cheshire, New
Haven Co., where he enlisted in the Civil War, and died at the end
of the war. Jane was born in 1829 in Ireland. Cannot find her
family or her immigration to this country. Many Brennens in
Seymour and New Haven, but cannot find a connection. Her husband
was from Quebec. She may have come into Quebec instead of the
US from Ireland. After Alex died she remarried and moved to Chicago.
Any help would be appreciated.
