my grandfather was Patrick Brennan, born 1881 and from Dublin. He emigrated to Salford, Lancashire in the early 20th century. He left brothers in Dublin who were ostlers or horse breeders by profession. Patrick served in the King's Liverpool Regiment in World War One. Brother Joe believed to have died in 1952 in Dublin. Their father was called Francis. Patrick married Emma Whitehouse in 1909 and they had nine children - Ethel Nella (1910-24), Paddy (1912-97), Edith Mary (1914-24), Frank (1919-96), Edie (1922-78), Joe (my dad, 1924- ), Bill (1925- ), John (1927- ), Margaret (1929- ). The whole family lived in and around Manchester, England.
Does anyone know any more about Patrick or his ancestors?
Thanks, Stuart Brennan
