I have been seaarching for a Brennan family connection as my ggrandmother was a Catherine Brennan born in Bantry, County Cork in 1829. She reportedly came to the USA about 1847/48 with a brother. An older brother, Daniel was born in 1826. There was a Daniel Brennan listed in the 1860 census for Rock Island County, IL. His age was about 3 yrs off for him to be "mine". I have not followed up on this yet. If you have any info on that Daniel Brennan, I would like to hear from you. Don H
