Could my Peter Brennan be yours also? I am looking for Brennans in N.Y. City or Pennsylvania. My maternal Grandmother's name was Laura or Loretta Brennan, born in the 1890's as was her sister Teresa. I am supposed to be named for their brother, Lawrence Brennan who was also born in the 1890's, and may have died in WWI or around that time period. Their father's name was Peter Brennan. Their mother, Ann Healy/Hickey may have died by or around 1900. The girls may have spent time at a Catholic orphanage run by nuns, Order unknown. Loretta married a William Hart from Ireland in 1911. He had been a fireman on an English ship and claimed asylum in the USA during WWI. Loretta had 4 children who survived to adulthood: Alice, William, Patrick Joseph, and John Lawrence. There are cousins with the surname Daly, one of which was a nun, Mother Finbar. I believe she ran an orphanage in Pa. Her brother, Dick Daly, was an elevator man in NYC, retired to Ireland, and was a bicycle enthusiast. I am looking for Ancestors, Siblings, and Descendants of the above. Help please! Your kinsman, Lawrence Hart Huebner
