I am researching the family of James Brennan (b. ca 1830) and Mary McGinty, of Dunaree and Drumberagh, in County Monaghan, Ireland. James' parents were Patrick and Julia Kirley Brennan. James and Mary's children were Bernard Joseph Brennan who immigrated to Rochester, NY and married Mary Ann Smith; James Brennan (who lived near an old windmill, at Dunaree and died there 9 Feb 1942, no children); Mary T. Brennan (b. ca 1877, immigrated to Rochester, NY, married a John Mulvihill, and died 12 Jun 1942 in Rochester; no children); Peter Brennan (who moved to England); and perhaps another daughter Catherine Brennan who died before 1942 (or this may be James' sister Katie, who also went to live at the windmill house). I would very much appreciate further information about any of these family members. I hope to deposit a summary of this research with the Rochester New York Public Library's genealogy and local history collection in the near future.
