Ralph,
Thanks for your input. I just recently became aware of the Irish Family History Foundation website, but have not registered yet. I can see that I really need to, especially since I am also researching other elusive Irish ancestors.
I wish I had more definate information on Patrick Brennan, but I can'r even find him in the 1850 and 1860 US Census records. All I had was a name from family tradition and then just last year found his name on his marriage record and the baptism records in Alton for his two children.
I will repost if I find anything else.
