John Brennan came with wife Elizabeth ARNETT Brennan from Ireland to Pottsville by 1845. They moved to Iowa Co., WI by 1850 but left Arnett relatives and probably Brennans behind in Pottsville.
Children of John and Elizabeth: Margaret b 1843, IR; Maria b 1845 PA; Elizabeth b 1847 PA; Ellen b 15 Nov 1848 PA; Catharine b 10 June 1852 WI; Sarah Ann b 2 Nov 1855 WI; Bridget b 10 June 1858 WI.
John Brennan was probably a miner; mining in Iowa Co., WI was important employment then.
