Hi Douglas,

I have came to a brick wall with my Brennans, John Brennan ???? and Ann Gamble.b???? they are recorded as being parents of my G,G,grand father, Franncis Brennan b. 1853 Dromara, Down, Irland married in Belfast 1876 to my G,G,grand mother Sarah Carlyle b. 1856 Dromara, Down, Irland, Francis and Sarah Brennan's First born son William John Carlyle Brennan was b. 1877 Kersley Ayrshire Scotland, Francis and Sarah came to Australia 1878 On the Ship "Rodell Bay"

Francis and Sarah Brennan had another 8 children born in Australia, Francis and Sarah's son Francis Brennan b 1886 was my G,grand father.
Sarah died in 1893 and Francis [b 1853] married Catherine Fitzsimmons 1894 Francis and Catherine had a son James b.1884 Catherine then died 1884, Francis b.1853 then married Catherine Ford 1895 Francis [b1853] then died in 1898.

There may be no conection, but you won't know unless you ask.I have found relies in Irland are very hard to track, there seems to be a missing link in the records, stopping us connection to earlier Ancestors.

Hope to hear from you soon,

All the best,

Thanks Di
