Denis,

My Great Grandfather, James, emigrated from Ireland, specifically Lemgare, in the late 1880's. He was born in 1864. He married Susan McShane and they lived in Rochester, NH. She was born in Rochester. If your grandfather stayed in Ireland then I presume that he died and was buried in Lemgare or Clontibret? If so then there are 2 parishes that he could potentially be buried. They are St. Mary's in Clontibret, which is my guess since that is very close to Lemgare and St. Michael's in Annyalla which is down the road. St. Michael's is the oldest. There are many Brennan families still in the area. I've been there. Lemgare is one townland that resides in Clontibret. I'm assuming your father emigrated from Ireland? Where did he settle?

Thanks, John
