I have just started my search and landed here. My fiances grandfather was Thomas Grant Brennan (b. 10/04/1898). He married a Margaret Agnes Brennan (that was her maiden name) (b. 3/23/1898). She was possible from Albany, New York. Thomas Grant Brennan had a brother named Joseph Loughen Brennan and was known as Lockie. Thomas Grant Brennan's father, Thomas John Brennan, came over from Ireland (Wexford) at age 17. I don't have a birthdate on him or what year he came over.
Thomas John Brennan married Mary Elizabeth Mullen whose father was John Mullen from Michigan. John Mullen's mother was Bridget Nugent from Michigan. Thomas John Brennan also has a grandparent with the last name of White from Ireland.
Mary Agnes Brennan's parents were James Francis Brennan (Albany, NY) and Margaret Elizabeth McCarthy (born 1868 in St. Louis).
Francis Brennan's parents were Edward Joseph Brennan (Albany, NY) and Catherine Hayes. Edward Joseph Brennan's mother was Sarah Alice Brennan from Ireland, possibly Waterford.
Margaret Elizabeth McCarthy's father was Dennis Andrew McCarthy from Waterford, Ireland.
