Michael Brennan (1870-?), Galway, Ireland to New York

I'm searching for descendants of Michael, son of Myles and Mary Egerton Brennan (nee Thornton) of Annaghdown, Co Galway. Michael was christened in Galway City on 27 March 1870 and his godparents were John Brennan and Honor Cody. (There is a passenger arrival of the Mauretania in New York for a Michael Brennan on 2 April 1910, a 40 yr old married bricklayer of American Irish nationality. For him to be the same person, he would have to have immigrated earlier and taken US citizenship). According to family lore, Michael became editor of the New York Sun but I've been unable to confirm that. His siblings were John, Bridget, James, Patrick, Catherine and Mary. The other boys emigrated to Western Australia and the girls remained in Galway.
