Am searching for Irish Roots of Patrick Brennan born Athlone, Co. Westmeath circa 1830. He was sent to Van Dieman's Land (Tasmania, Australia) as a Convict with his brother Charles in 1853 for stealing a Cow. There was also a Bernard Brennan charged with the same offence but cannot find if he was a brother or their father. I think Bernard may have died in Prison as I am unable to find any Transportation records for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
