My great-grandmother was Mary Sabina Brennan (1866-1917) of Shenandoah, Schuylkill County. She was the daughter of James Brennan and Mary Sabina Russell. Mary Sabina Brennan (who was married to my great-grandfather, John Francis McGinty) had three brothers, Frank Brennan, James J. Brennan, and John D. Brennan. James J. Brennan married Margaret T. Connors and had the following seven children:

Francis Brennan (later Francis Cardinal Brennan) (1894-1968)
Thomas Brennan (? - 1893)
Ignatius Brennan (m. Katherine O'Hearn)
Josephine Brennan (m. William Schmidt)
Russell Brennan (m. Eleanor Kilker)
John Brennan (m. Mary Meluskey) -- 3 children: Frank, John, Mary
Mary Brennan (m. John Downey)
